Meet your instructor

My name is Ada Iglesias, and I am a certified Spanish teacher with a master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I am also a DELE examiner for the Cervantes Institute, which means I have the experience and qualifications to guide you through every step of your Spanish language journey. The DELE exam (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) is an official certification issued by Spain’s Instituto Cervantes to assess and certify Spanish language proficiency for non-native speakers.

For Cuban descendants, learning Cuban language can be a powerful way to reconnect with their heritage, revive family traditions, and explore the rich cultural history of Cuba. Through language, you not only recover your linguistic roots but also gain a deeper understanding of the customs, values, and vibrant cultural expressions that define Cuban identity.
